  • Complete mechanical adjustments, removal of lost motion, key height adjustment, oiling
  • Any corks and felts replaced when needed, including headjoint cork
  • Adjust and shim every pad to seal better than new, objectively, scientifically verifiable on the mag machine
  • Replace torn pads, no extra charge
  • Minor dent removal
  • Other repairs as needed, possible extra charges as quoted (contact me)
  • One to two days to complete usually, 8 to 12 hours of very skilled labor
  • 3 month warranty covering any settling-in or weather-related changes

  • All pads replaced with double-skin yellow pressed felt pads, individually shimmed and seated to seal better than new; objectively, scientifically verifiable on the mag machine.
  • Pro flutes can be overhauled with S2 pads if they were originally designed for S2 pads or Straubinger pads. Conversions not recommended, but possible on request.
  • All Corks and felts replaced.
  • Headjoint and footjoint tenons fitted.
  • Complete mechanical adjustments, removal of lost motion, oiling, and anything needed to make the flute play perfectly.
  • Dent removal as is possible.
  • 2-3 weeks to complete typically. 40 to 80 hours of very skilled labor, plus some time for drying, settling, and testing.
  • 1 year warranty covering any settling-in or weather-related changes

Headjoint Service
$60 for each flute headjoint
The headjoint service is a COA for a headjoint, it can be chosen if the flute's body does not need any work (for example, if you just recently purchased a different headjoint for your flute and want it fitted to your flute) or this is the price that is added to a flute COA or overhaul if you have multiple headjoints.
  • Replace headjoint cork
  • Fit headjoint to body
  • Remove dents in headjoint
  • Clean and polish headjoint
